IMED is a Tanzanian limited liability consulting and capacity-building company established in 2009. It supports enterprises, institutions, governments and development partners to improve performance and create sustainable economic impact.

IMED works through five practice areas: business development and enterprise incubation; programme design and management; research, evaluation and advisory; institutional development and corporate training; and policy advocacy, public-private dialogue and private sector development.

IMED is based in Dar es Salaam and has delivered work across Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar, as well as Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Philippines.

IMED HUB is the company’s coworking, incubation and enterprise-support ecosystem at Mlimani Tower, 8th Floor, Dar es Salaam. It connects entrepreneurs with workspace, learning, advisory support and a wider business community.
